So far the effects of Strength, Intelligence, and Constitution for each class have been simple to figure out.
Strength: The warrior gets +2 damage per 5 points, while the survivor and mage only get +1 damage per 10 points of strength. All classes gain 20 weight limit per point of strength.
Intelligence: The warrior gains 3 mana, survivor gains 4 mana, and the mage gains 6 mana per point.
Constitution: The warrior gains 6, the survivor gains 5, and the mage gains 4 points of life per point of constitution. All 3 classes gain 300 stamina per point.
Agility is confusing and hard to figure out because I don't know if there is a starting value and/or what it would be before the 10 or 15 points are taken into account.
The warrior starts with 10 and has 8 offense and 6 defense.
The mage starts with 10 and has 6 offense and 6 defense.
The survivor starts with 15 and has 10 offense and 12 defense.
Adding 5, to make it 20, gives the survivor 13 offense and 16 defense.
My guesses:
Warrior gains 4 offense and 3 defense for every 5 agility.
Mage gains 3 offense and 3 defense for every 5 agility.
Survivor gains 3.33 offense and 4 defense for every 5 agility.
I've been seriously thinking about restarting because I've messed up so many quests in my previous game by doing the primary quests. Next time I know to stay far away from that awful castle till I've done everything else there is to possibly do. xP
So basically I'm trying to figure which class is the best. I'm currently liking the warrior's +2 damage per 5 points. That's a hefty advantage over the other classes and I am kinda tired of the fixed damage amount spells. 1000 mana is nice but casting meteor strike a bazillion times gets pretty tedious.
Edit update, March 12th: But despite the warrior getting a spiffy damage and life bonus, she can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn, even with 25+ agility. Still seems like 50/50 chance of hitting those wimpy skeletons.. Even though mini-bosses can easily hit you and deal 80+ damage per hit. This game has some serious balance issues. xP
Oh well I'll just plink away at some orcs with a wimpy bow and hope that she'll eventually get good enough to melee something besides skeleton warriors.
