Is the version from gog.com the newest? I found the patch on fileplanet that says the game will be updated to 1.34.
I think the game itself is 1.00 version and the patch is not working with gog ver

GOG has the latest version of Divine Divinity - 1.005A
Version 1.34 (displayed as 1.0034A in the game) dates from 2003

On the start screen, look in the lower right corner for the current game version . . . =)

One thing that was not mentioned in previous replies is that 1.0034A is applicable to the retail version of the game, and that 1.005A is applicable to the GoG version only and is not available for owners of the retail version.

I believe that the devs made a patch for non-GoG versions as well, I recall that there were some threads on Impulse regarding the patch for their version - as well as on the DD forums.
