Hello all. The first Divine Divinity from 2002 will be the next game I play this holiday season. I am currently running Windows 7, but have learned that Windows 7 will not be supported come this January. So I will probably install Windows 10. Does DD work with Windows 10?

I have been playing on Windows 10 without issue.
Thanks to you both for your replies! And to Raze_Larian, Dragon Knight: Godspeed with Baldur's Gate 3!
The game does not work properly anymore for some reason on W10 (it worked fine a couple weeks ago). The figurine of my character is completely dark/black; when I discover a new house and enter it, it's pitch black inside; the objects on the map (a well, for example), are surrounded by squares which are--you guessed it!--pitch black. I tried changing the compatibility mode, but the system won't allow me to (the little checkbox on the "Compatibilities" tab won't click). I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and changed Direct 3D to whatever other option there was. None of it helped, unfortunately. Perhaps someone else has/had this problem and knows how to resolve it?

In configtool.exe, did you choose software rendering?
If you are using Direct3D, did you tick AlphaBit?

Divine Divinity has a few compatibility issues and as most suggestions like running it in sofware mode or unofficial patches didn't work for me I made a guide to run this game in Direct3d with dgVoodoo 2.
