hi, i notice in Divine Divinity the click and drag option when trying to move teleportation stones or drag things into a chest or move boxes etc. it is really finicky and usually my character ends up moving to the object i am trying to move rather than the item dragging. Is there some way to use the keyboard to do this instead? It's driving me nuts spending 5 minutes every time trying to drag an item somewhere and my guy just keeps walking to it instead.

Other than that, enjoying the game. Playing as a mage and basically rely on meteor strike to finish guys off and the skeleton wall to absorb some of the incoming enemy swarms when they get overwhelming. Also *SPOILER UPCOMING* thankfully saved before stormfist castle so i could avoid being held hostage in one spot for a long time and losing my teleportation stones.

Anywho, if anyone has a suggestion to help me out would love to hear any advice.

There is no shortcut key to pick up items.
If you stand close to the teleporter stone (etc) you should be able to drag it without your character moving. Hitting the Alt key might help.

If you're moving to the item that's the game telling you need to stand closer to the object you are trying to move.

alright, thanks for the ideas guys. I've tried swearing at my computer but that doesn't seem to work lol. Anyways, i'll give your suggestions a try. Thanks again. I'm off to find out what this shady Tingalf bastard is up to. No one threatens me! jk

If you are standing close enough to an item to move it, the item will have a white glow when you move the mouse over it. If you are too far away, it will have a reddish glow.
