I cant make any progress in the game, whenever I go to "The Trone Room" one of the generals talks to me, it's different one each time I load the save. There is no text at all when the general talks, and I have nothing to click on to continue, I've tried hitting enter, esc, arrows up and down and then enter but nothing helps.

This is a compatibility problem loading a pre-patch save in the patched game. Larian is working on a fix, which should hopefully not take long, or you can re-install the game without the patch to continue with your existing saves, or start a new campaign.
