I'm pretty sure I figured out how to 'design' my skills/spells, but now how do I actually USE them?

This should be really self-explanatory but nothing I tried worked.

Beside each character portrait, click on the 'Secondary Skill' hand icon to get a menu of all your (non-passive) skills and abilities; left click the icon for the skill/spell you want to be active, and right click to use it.
