I'm doing this post so the gog version gets an update, it seems that on 64bits systems mostly win seven the beyond divinity version is really bugged (memory issues) which larian fixed already on steam(ver 1.506), the bug makes the game almost unplayable and the frame rate is really low and it cut in half or less when you see smoke effect or fog,.
Steam version got a patch 1 month ago or more

Larian already send the patch to gog(for what I know) so now is up to you to update this version so everyone can have the patch.
Raze_Larian very kindly took the time and released an unofficial version that you can download here: more info [url=http://www.larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=462604#Post462604]here and here

With that patch the game now is fixed, at least so far is going great (crossed fingers) with no lag or framerate issues :)

BTW don't forget to pledge on Divinity original sin kickstarter campaign

We need to hit that 1 mil stretch goal :D

selticus1978: what's the gog's version
I have not re-downloaded the installer, but would think GOG should have updated it to 1.506 by now (the version number is shown in the main menu). It will at least be 1.5x.

The 1.49 patch is for the original disk version of the game, and shouldn't install for the download version.
