After I enter the academy I can play for only about a minute before the game crashes. I cannot go any further. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game a couple of times. This happens with the Gog version but also with the anthology version from my dvd.

I'm on an XP machine with the latest drivers and directX installed before starting to play the game. I had some random crashes in act III as well but I managed to play on till now.

I renamed the intro movie, I deleted the dynamic files, nothing works, I reloaded a save from the end of act III and reentered the academy, made a new save in the academy but the game keeps crashing.

Any clues? Thanks.

If you zip your save at the end of act 3 and email it to me (raze@larian.com), I can see if it crashes here. That'll help narrow down where the problem is, at least, and if it is in the save I may be able to isolate it by comparing your save to mine at that point.
