So I've been in love with DD for a while now. Upon getting a new PC I had to say goodbye to my beloved CD-version and bought the GOG-release to go with my win7 OS.
This made me wonder, what about Beyond Devinity?
I've read a few positive reviews about it, but while I liked the story the screenshots kind of ruined it for me. I wanted to ask you nice people out there who played both, or one of them, if you could tell me what you think about BD and if you would recommend getting this one too?

I REALLY enjoyed DD and bought BD thinking it was similar. I didn't finish the game as it was really nothing like DD. Poor voice acting, chained to a Deathknight (two characters vs one in DD), totally different interface / skills etc. I really wanted to like it but the BD did not pull me back like DD gameplay.

If you can grab it on sale, it is worth a play. . . =)
