Hello, first hello to Larian Studios from Doornik, glad there's still a great studio in Belgium… (with the closure of 10tacle belgium almost 2 years ago I don't think there's still a lot)
Now, my question… well all is in the title, Divine Divinity works great (smooth and widescreen) thanks to the patch I guess, but beyond divinity is totally unplayable for me, first no widescreen, sure it's not a huge problem but as Divine accept it it's weird.
But the main issue is the framerate, it's so slooooow (and that's make the game unplayable), so is a patch like the one for Divine planned for Beyond ?
It would be great, thanks.

Haven't played BD yet, next after DD. You might look here for widescreen tips. Looks to be the same as the DD method.
What OS are you running?
Hello, thanks for the answer.
I already tried the to change the values in the config file, it works ingame, but the menus are broken.
But I can live with that (I mean playin in 4/3), the problem is that the game is awful slow, 7 fps average with fraps.
So as the patch for divine correct this two issues it would be great to port the patch made for divine to beyond, I guess a lot of work is already done.
And I have Windows Seven 64bits.

There are suggestions in this thread regarding Beyond Divinity slowdowns on 64bit Operating Systems

Hello, thanks for the link, limiting the RAM to 3go works.
So if there's no patch I guess I will play with that trick, it's just too bad that Divine runs perfectly on modern system and not his sequel Beyond.
Hi,
First post here, and I figured since this thread was talking about patches that this would be the best place to post. I've noticed that Beyond Divinity on the Larian forums is currently at patch 1.49 . However upon examing my savegame files for Beyond Divine it shows that the GOG version of the game is at 1.47.
Maybe I'm confused, but could someone at GOG confirm that Beyond Divinity has the latest patch. If not, do I simply need to download the latest patch from larian and apply it or is there another method of patching the game?
Many thanks,
Raven

You have the latest patch installed with 1.4.7 . Nevermind the 1.4.9, as it is explained elsewhere as something Larian didn't change for some copy-protection removal.
You're good to go.
Thanks for the info trog :-)
