Hello every.

As your probably already know, there is a new Disciples game coming. These past few days i've been trying to find fans of the franchize, to ask for their opinion. And it looks like i'm not alone with the notion that the new game not only took a different direction compared to the older games, but also disregards to what made Disciples 1-2 unique and successful.

I'm curious about your opinion related to this topic, so feel free to join my facebook group.(It's called Disciples fans)
We can discuss what were your favourite things in Disicples 1-2-3 and what mechanic you'd like to see in upcoming games. Also, i would like encourage all of you to reach out to Kalypso Media on facebook or on their discord channel, and tell them if you too miss old mechanics(like form changes and branching evolutions,flag planting etc).

I got Disciples: Liberation and if you are looking for a continuation of the Disciples franchise, this is not it. Everything that makes the Disciples, Disciples is removed. The only thing that is Disciples about the new game is the name.

It is a good game. It is a fun game. I would say it is worth the money. But if you are seeing the Disciples title and are excited for a new installment of a beloved francize, you will be disappointed.

Are you sure it is good? Did you reach the ending? You saw what it be? This is like... i dont know... Even Legend of Korra tv serial 4th book (season) is better.
And im not about current trends. Not for LoK, not for Liberation - i say it about plot itself. Ideas. Ending. Main character design.

And if you think this is continuation of Disciples Nevendaar... oooh... prepare yourself a some sedative for that endings. This is the end.
When it only start i guess there is no future for the series except one MMO for two years (one in closed+open- beta) and than it die for good. Now they cut it all. There is nothing left even for very short plot for MMO.

P.S.
Disciples 3 with three releases (and 3 russian make-money beta-test on players) also have Disciples 3 book series (mmm two based on game, or actually one is novelisation while another one is source for Resurrection plot).
And there is already been short living Disciples 3 Online. With some short plot. Web-browser game. it started shortly after russian game release in 2009(?) and ended shortly after english release (that bring hot-seat multiplayer, originally D3 do not have MP at all - only campaign!!!). First it be closed russian than opened for all EN+RUS beta-test.

I bought Liberation but haven't got round to playing it yet, but I'm excited if it's unlike the previous games. Yeah, sorry. I enjoy the dark gothic design of the series but have found the games themselves (II and 3: Reincarnation) either too unforgiving or too slow-paced to be much fun otherwise, so I've had to get my aesthetics fill from the Dark Souls series, but that doesn't tickle my strategy games fancy to the same extent (although I enjoy a challenge, and DS certainly has that if nothing else to offer in spades).

I'll try to carve some hours in over the coming weeks. Family life, work, that sort of stuff gets in the way sometimes.
