Is there any way to undo or ward against the witch's transform spell? I'm playing as the Empire and an enemy hero puts a stone gargoyle in the front row with a witch and another monster behind it. My party is a Wizard hero, cleric and two knights that all get transformed by the witch. How do I stop or overcome the transform spell of the witch?
Thanks :D
The best counter is to kill the witch first. Besides that, keep in mind that transformation spells are Mind spells, so Mind Ward can block them. Once a person is changed, however, you're stuck waiting however many turns it takes for the effect to wear off.

Thank you! I didn't even think of mind ward :/
Also, a trick you can use with the Empire is setting your melee unit upgrade path to Witch Hunters/Inquisitors if you expect to be facing units that use transform/paralyze/etc, as the Witch Hunters have permanent mind spell immunity. Although for your current scenario this would mean restarting (as you've already gone with knights), so hopefully mind ward gets the job done.

Awesome! I will remember that for the future :)
