Same issue here, but after a bit of tinkering I've found that the possible responsible is the ddraw.dll file of the latest release.

This file is found on the directories:

GOG Galaxy\Games\Diablo\dx
GOG Galaxy\Games\Diablo\hellfire

Simply replacing the ddraw.dll file with the ddraw.dll file of the release "Version 1.09 Hellfire v2" on both directories made the trick for me.

Vile-Infected: It just doesnt work. Period. Shift is working as you can see im TYPING with CAPS here, see? But in game, the SHIFT key is not holding position to attack. I am forced to move. I have tried checking for updates, and verified that the files arent busted with the GoG launcher thing. Whats the deal?
