Im sure this has been covered, so forgive me in advance for asking, but is there a way to get multi-payer match making to work? With BAttle.net Im told my connection is not processing UDP packets through port 6112. is there a setting or an add-on though allow for match making?

Also which version is everyone using for multi-player? "classic" or hi-res?

Thanks in advance and Im glad to be back with this steller game

Hey,

For Battle.net you need to open ports on your firewall and router, as for how doing so you should have a look at this site, look for your router model (it should be written underneat the router itself) and then have a look at this page. An easier way is to have a VPN with port forwarding, but it's not free, just have a look on google if you're interested.

The classic version has matchmaking, while the HD one doesn't, only lan through IPX, but you can simulate a lan with a vpn (a free program like hamachi). That said I advise you to only do it with people you trust.

Good luck !
