Read that in Hellfire a visit to her recharges mana. No such luck. Engaged in dialogue, etc., just to push the issue. But unlike visiting our healer does to health, visiting our witch ... does nothing for mana.

Just started, Level 2 sorceror.

Anything I might be doing wrong/am unaware of?

don't believe everything you read on the internet. ;-)

In regular Hellfire (just like in Diablo) mana is not for free, you still need to buy mana potions in order to restore it. Since sorcerors are always short of money at the beginning and have to struggle more than the other classes, I'd advise you to pick up everything in the dungeon that seems valuable to you so that you can get by and afford potions and books.

There are mods with that feature though, for example Belix' Hellfire Patch v1.02.A5, which you find here: https://www.lurkerlounge.com/forums/thread-15760.html
