I went into IW expecting it to be a disappointment, but was pleasantly surprised to find I liked it more than the first game. I think it does everything better, except maybe that it lacks the large, open levels. And even then, it does have a few larger more open levels, that manage to feel more detailed than DE's sparse, barren maps.
Anyway, the one thing that annoys me about IW (besides all the super-soldiers towards the end that can't be avoided or knocked out) is that the description for the game mentions you go to London. London is not featured in this game. The cities I went to were great, but that's not the point. The point is, the description implied London was a location in-game and it wasn't. I hope the description is edited one day so as to not mislead others (though I think most reviews for the game do that well enough).
But gosh dang that was a great game.
