the resolution option bar is just completely blank, when I click on it, nothing happens, it still gives me the bleep this problem started when I installed revision, but didn't fix itself when I uninstalled it

Uninstall and reinstall may fix it.

And you may want to give GMDX a try; it's brilliant.
