is anyone else expirencing this problem or is it just my computer because i can see through the left side of doors and also through breakable stuff in the mercenary expansion. It didn't happen at all in the main plot

Try switching video modes, in setup> video tab> check the drop-down to see what you are currently using, if there is only one choice the click 'Redetect Available Rendering Devices'. You should then get a drop-down with more than one choice, try each one to see which looks best.
