Has anyone got a Glovepie script for Descent yet? If not I'll make one, I was thinking of using the wiimote and nunchuck to controll it.
How does this scheme sound, anyone have any other ideas?
1) The wiimote nunchuck thumb stick for forward,backwards,up,down
2) The nunchuck accelerometers for rotating in the axis that go's from the front to the rear of the ship.
3) Twisting the nunchuck left->right (whilst nunchuck is horizontal) for controlling straffing
4) The wiimote accelerometers for rotating on the other two axis
5) B for primary, A for secondary weapons
6) Z and C for weapons scrolling
7) + - for map/bombs

I'll try to do something when I have time, but it won't be a GlovePIE script, since I use linux I'll be running XWii or Cwiid. Probably Cwiid, more power behind the scripting.
Gonna be real iffy. Descent has too many controls for direct mapping. If we make C [shift] then we effectively double the number of buttons we have, and still don't have enough.
I'd say this would be decent. I haven't tested it though, so I have no idea.

This would get it moving and shooting, and the empty ones can be left up to the user.
Was shooting for a combination of the Metroid Prime: Corruption and Mario Kart Wii controls while keeping some of the things you can do when you map movement to WASD+QE (AccelReverse W/S, StrafeHoriz A/D, StrafeVert Q/E,) and use the mouse to point.
