The Definitive Edition includes the Levels Of The World add-on, and several additional levels created by Parallax along with Descent II: Vertigo, and the Descent Mission Builder 2!

Also I noticed there was a different soundtrack included with the Descent II: The Infinite Abyss release

As for the expansion, not sure. I still own the original and have it installed.
