[It's kind of a spoiler thread so... Don't read it if you didn't finished all three game !]

Just to be clear, i'm not saying it's a bad thing because i think it's something which made this serie quite interesting but... I was really sad to see Rufus separate Goon and Jude, one to be treated as a slave, the other to be eaten by a crazy parasite even if they were so happy before... Also, the fact Hansel and Rusty most likely died (and Gritchen don't really have many chance to survive on this swamp).

We can argue that Rufus itself don't always seem aware of what he was doing but the player, me, perfectly know that when we had to make the action. There is some other case like that like when you eject the memory off goal in Deponia 1 or when you kill the gondola guy in Deponia 2 but it really sadden me the most on the third one.

.... Or maybe i'm alone and i take these game too seriously ?

Rufus was created as an antihero. Given his character and personality, I'd like to think that he's actually aware that there will be some bad consequences from his actions, but he really just couldn't care less about others. Everything he did is ultimately to get himself to Elysium with Goal. I struggled to get myself to finish the first game, because I really didn't like him then. But somehow Rufus grew on me in the 2nd and 3rd game. To me, what made Rufus' last deed that much more meaningful is that up to that point, he hasn't shown an ounce of care for anything besides himself.
