What will the fix involve? Will Delta Force receive the AvP treatment of dedicated servers via the Galaxy client? Can we expect this solution to be implemented for all DF games or just a selected few?

Looking forward to seeing some DF2 multiplayer without the hacks and lag of the later dial up days.

DF2 would be pretty awesome but i'd prefeer BHD. I used to LOVE the maps with the patrolling blackhawks in them. You were a sitting duck when you got into one, but it was still fun as hell and could get you a few easy kills.

Also, BHD coop was awesome!

One of two things can occur, I suspect:

1) GOG Galaxy integration

2) Issuing individual keys for games still supported by NovaWorld (DF-Land Warrior and newer)

The former option has its own issues and would require a patch, as well as special coding. The latter option, which would be more pragmatic, would be having a master list of keys to give to players upon request, which has been done with other games in the past.

While this all pertains to the novaworld component, I would like to know whats up with the lan side of things, I host a game and player 2 can't connect to me, Is it also broken, or am i missing something.

It even says it is connecting but P2 is stuck on the loading screen

Although the Official Novalogic servers are hit and miss, multiplayer is working DF1-BHD and has been for quite some time.

The released games on GOG all shipped with a alternative startup which will give you the choice of lobby so don't be detered if you try Novalogic and it gives you an error, switch to NovaHQ.
Novalogic lobbies for the past year or so have suffered from intermittent downtime.

ShaunRoberts: Which game? It is possilbe to play via LAN but DF2-TFD are a bit more complex to set up.

There is no map in the coop tab in Multiplayer :(

Hi if you want to play online down load Gameranger, sometimes there a few BHD games kicking about, for DF2 and DFLW very few if any or you could set up games yourself with friends an other way to finds games is through Facebook ie Delta Force reunion and delta Force Fanatics and a few more. Delta Force the first on has a few servers running between 3-7 depending hope this helps anyone :) march was the last time I played DF2.

Can confirm that BHD mp seems to be working if you select the novahq server when doing a join. I've seen a few TDM and coop servers with players on and even played a few matches.

Boy, the multiplayer has not aged well. It feels laggy as hell.
