Although I was able to fix the missing intro file on my own, the colors ingame are generally just wrong and looks more like a huge splatter of paint more than anything else. The HUD and Menu colors are fine, however. I tried everything, and it won't work. Does this game just not like newer computers? I'm on Windows 7 64bit and have a Nvidia GTX 750Ti with the latest drivers. ;-;

It's a "side effect" of your own intro fix. I had the same problem when I used your INTRO.KDV, and when I reverted to the 13 KB one that comes with the GOG version of the game, the problem dissappeared.

Probably the reason GOG didn't bother to fix the intro.
Yep, I can confirm that your intro fix messes up the textures in game. I didn't actually try to play a map until now, I had just checked that the intro played yesterday. Sorry.
Yeah same here. Does this happen also on Windows 8.1/10?

I first thought this is the good old "Windows 7 Aero rainbow colors problem on old games" so I tried killing explorer.exe before running the game (df.exe)... but that didn't fix the colors, so apparently this is something else.

Oh well, I guess I will play the game without the intro then. I'd always skip it anyway after seeing it once. :)
Running this on Win 8.1 and it looked fine from the get-go without any aditional tampering.
