Hello Folks,

My gaming computer doesn't have an internet connection. The game welcomes me with a window saying it can't connect to the update server everytime I start it. It is only a minor annoyance, but does anyone know how to disable it?

Best regards,
Marcin
At the moment there's no way to disable it, just skip it. We can always put a new option in the options menu to disable it, and push that to the next patch.

It seems like this is a concern for people, so I'll do my best to address it in a future patch.

I just pushed version 1.0.51 to the public update server. This new version has an option to disable the auto-update check.

With this change, if you opt out of data tracking, and turn off the auto-updater, the application should no longer "phone home." If you still detect any outgoing connections with both settings turned off, let me know so I can step through my code and see if I'm missing something.

Just wanted to say kudos for being so responsive to feedback and fan requests - it is really impressive how much extra effort you are putting in here. I'm definitely going to buy the game when my next payday rolls around...
larsiusprime, thank you very much! I would have responded earlier, only I had to figure out first the "new forum reply" indicator :)

Just as feedback, I really appreciate that you included this option (and removed the Adobe Air dependency).
