Just want to start off by saying I tried the browser demo and fell in love with the game. Unfortunately I can't buy it now as $5.99 is still a bit too much for me at the moment. In any case, does anyone know how long the campaign is? The demo itself was surprisingly lengthy, and it made me wonder just how long the game itself was. Does it manage to stay varied throughout?

edit: somehow put the wrong sale price down because dumb.

it's actually on sale for $5.99, is that still too steep? Sorry, I haven't bought it yet. I'm still on the fence, so i don't know the length of it.

Unfortunately, yeah. I don't know where I got $7.50 from though O_o;;

Either way, that's too much for me right now, but I'm not too upset by it. When I do get some spending money I think this game will deserve the full asking price, anyway.

Thanks for responding as well!

"The upper and lower bounds for completing Defender's Quest now sits at roughly 5-50 hours. Players can fly through in casual mode (ideal for the sub-set of RPG fans who are "just here for the story"), or they can squeeze every ounce of tactical goodness out of the battle and upgrade systems by trying to go for "perfect" on every single challenge."

Hope this helps
I think it took me me about 70 hours to get through the normal game and earn all stars (except the one for the evil sheep). But there are still some unlocked challenges that I didn't do and more or less the whole NG+ mode (that will probably take about the same time to beat).
