I LOVE both Endless Ocean games so when I saw this it was instant "OH BOY!" It took me a while to get my "sea legs" in that and I'm having similar problems here. A tutorial would be great for beginners similar to the one in Endless Ocean. I've never played anything other than click and point games on a WIN10 laptop PC and I've run into two unsolveables for my pea brain unaccustomed to keyboard commands.

1. How do you collect items? I tried to "interact", but that didn't work.

2. How do you surface? I tried to use my mouse to point at the up arrow (like the down arrow for dive) but I never could see a cursor so I couldn't see where the mouse was pointing.

If the best answer is "Hon, get a game controller so you aren't trapped in Old School", what types are reasonable for this game and others as well."

I do agree with the poster in another topic that the floatie thing is frustrating, especially for those of us who do not dive in real life. That is where a tutorial would be invaluable.

Even if I can't collect things, I'm having fun. And even though I die each time since I can't figure out how to surface, it doesn't matter. I don't lose anything and the skill I build I don't lose! And I'm REALLY hoping no one will be saying that it won't work right on a laptop.

The answer to both of your problems is to hold down the Interact key.

PERFECT! I had no idea at all for surfacing and for the collecting, I was just tapping, rather than holding, the F key. Thanks so much! I've collected one whole shell!

Now to practice swimming and aiming. I want to be able to not need my mouse, but that will take a while.
Hey there!

We're glad that you were able to collect your very first shell! As Bioboygamer already replied to your question, I just wanted to say thank you for supporting us :)
