Venita: The saves should be in \AppData\Roaming\.madgarden\DR2C
Treehugger: If I want to uninstall my offline installation copy of Death Road To Canada in order to reinstall it under GOG Galaxy, which files would I need to copy over in order to keep the same traits/perks I've unlocked in-game? These are the files listed:
0.save
0.slot
cheevos.save
custchars.save
gstats.save
settings.data
You shouldn't need to reinstall the game in the first place. If Galaxy doesn't automatically detect that it's installed, you can just tell it to scan for it. (You'll have to forgive me for not giving specifics here, as I don't use Galaxy, so I don't know the exact menu options involved.)
Regardless, wherever the game's installed, it should save to (and look for save data in) that same location. That's why modern games almost all save data like this in some other location in Windows' folder structure, rather than the game's installation folder. Even if you uninstall the game, your progress should still be there unless the other folder (in this case, in AppData) also gets deleted.
