Just bought Deadnaut recently. What fantastic immersion.
I found several bugs though, the most annoying of which was when you had to scroll in game on a menu, for example selecting weapons, the on screen arrows did not thing so I could not scroll without the clunky mouse wheel. Odd.

Anyway overall the game is great but having only 4 missions is real problem. Not sure why there is this limitation. I would have thought you could built up get more people, have a set of squads you play with. Maybe all this will be coming I don't know.

The game is indeed as others have said quite unforgiving and the hacking elements are indeed superb.

So in summary.
* only 4 missions and then it's the end. Really needs far more. They are though EXTREMELY challenging and they change every time you "Start over".
* If it can have more than 4 missions you could build up sets of squads to expand the scenarios even more that would indeed be good if it had this.
* could really use tool tips as the manual is not the best and there are still some bits and pieces I am not sure on
* some built in tutorials would not go amiss to get people in. I had to watch a few lets plays to be able to understand what I was doing.
* Key rebinding please. This is an accessibility issue. You cannot rebind keys. In this day and age this should really be a given and part of any standard design, it is not a deal breaker for me but is an annoyance. I would really like to rebind the keys to be on the RIGHT side of the keyboard not the left. Anyway a minor issue for this title.
* Campaign editor and/or scenario editor so you can adjust difficulty to get started.

It is still excellent ,worth a buy, the immersion is fantastic, all the data you collect and the backstory is just awesome. It is just a little short. Always support your indie dev :)
Just for the record, Deadnauts received content update since that post, and it is now actually 5 separate campaigns with 4 missions each (amongst other stuff added). Of course, campaigns are still randomly generated, so while overall "feel" of same campaign stays, the actual enemies can have vastly different characteristics, resistances, or even appearance (my favorite was getting hydrostatic "Horrors", which were basically a shapeshifting, psyche-affecting liquids :D ).

Obviously, the campaigns is just one part of the update - there is also more stuff for the Deadnauts, and even additional difficulty levels (with highest one being even harder than original game).

Absolutely cult classic (already, and without over-using the word), and must-have game. I value it closely to original X-Com: Enemy Unknown.
