OpulentAmbrosia: Hmm... I'm not aware of this Dpfix stuff, is this a patch or something? Does it fixes most of the problem that Deadly Premonition has? Ah is it compatible with the GOG.com version of the game? I just encountered a another error during I completed the mission in the lumbermill or something? Heheh Sorry for asking too many question lol!
Silverio13: Is not a problem. I found it looking on the internet about this keyboard madness, is like an external mod, is like the mod from dark souls... I mean, its the SAME. Even the same config.ini and files. I guess its made by the same people.
In this web (steam forums) someone post it about:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/247660/discussions/0/792924953013802599/?l=spanish Dont care about the first link, that alternative launcher didnt work for mee but the zip on the second link has the DPfix. Is the 0.95 version and you have to unzip in your game folder. Then you change in order to configurate the settins in DPfix.ini.
I had to set the first resolution lower than the second. The first is how the game is going to move and the second is how is going to be saw. I THINK it works like that, anyway, it worked for me to set 1440x900 (16:10 resolution) and then 1650x1050 (My 16:10 native monitor resolution).
With 1080 is the same exactly.
Runs softly, better textures (better, not amazing, just better xD), controller works good, keyboard doesnt move alone...
Still clunky but they can't make miracles I guess :(
Thank you so much for providing the link for the DPfix! I'll try it out once I got the time since I'm still really busy about work and all :(
Well you're right about that, they can't seem to make miracles but at least the game is still bearable and really quite fun to play. I could listen Agent York and Zach talk among themselves all day along if I had my way :)
There are worst games out that which Deadly Premonition fares much more better which I have played. Like Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City the PC version. The Gods! there's tons of bugs which makes it almost unplayable Argh!
There are other many PC games that I resented playing where I forgotten most of their titles and names due to bad experience it brings.
So I think Deadly premonition is still a good game to play despite its shortcomings, I just hope the game would age well enough and a sequel of the game would soon follow.
Speaking of which, I'm been thinking of buying "D4: DARK DREAMS DON'T DIE SEASON ONE" if ever the price drops since it was created by the same developer as Deadly Premonition.
My only complain about the game is the lack of bonus content like a manual or some wallpapers? This is a Director's cut right?
