Hey everyone. The recent Summer Sale kind of got me in the best possible way because I picked up Deadly Premonition for only 2 bucks and it's a game I loved playing on the PS3 and thought given how much the community has been patching and updating the PC port I can make it work.

I have installed DPfix and a bunch of texture improvement mods and I have controller support going on with a program to use my PS4 controller for the game.

I've re-mapped the controls using the DP Launcher as best to my ability but it seems that the commands and input are off and I have very little experience in Hotkey fixes...actually none. I mostly use GoG for really old games with very rare exceptions.

Furthermore, every single time I load up the game the camera keeps spinning and it treats moving the right stick to the right as a RB command. I've been pulling my hair out trying to get it to behave but the controller options in the default Launcher aren't doing it. Any help, tips or fixes would be appreciated!

Same problem over here. I'm using DS4 Tool for my PS4 controller and I have the same issue.

This makes the game unplayable with my controller.

Help or fix is needed !

EDIT: Kay, I got something !

Stop using DS4 Tool, use Antimicro instead and emulate your keyboard/mouse with your controller.

Works but its goddamn tedious...

Still need an "easy" fix to this issue though ! =)

Same problem. Using x360ce with Xiaomi controller. Camera spinning around and key mapping seems to be wrong.

I seem to have figured it out on my end. It appears I had to go into settings and have the controller treated as an Xbox 360 Controller rather than a 3rd Party Gamepad. Controls acted perfectly fine afterwards. strange.

"Settings" inside the game or launcher ? or ?

I am interested in this too. I don't have settings for changing a controller type in the game or in the launcher (launcher contains only the possibility of changing keyboard to controller). Where should we look then?
