... and the sound of crying.

Well she spends most of her time crying, day after day. It would`ve been nice if the Devs added a girl standing there weeping into her palms. Or wimpering, depending on her state, as you come upstairs would be all the more effective. Instead she just stands there - Not looking like she`s crying.

Also. it would be nice if the other characters in the school actually moved about a bit and looked like they were doing something, even if just tinkering or staring at a picture.

Anyway, I like the game a lot, just some little touches need adding. Hopefully in a patch?

I can understand not adding too much extra animation given the budget and small size of the dev team, however I really like the idea of letting the NPCs at the shelter wander about a little. Just a few random paths where them move between locations and/or appear to be talking to one another would add so much life to the shelter with (I assume?) a minimum of effort.

At a minimum they should move the NPCs to the places where they're actually working! They can obviously do that pretty easily (since it works for the infirmary) - so they should have people doing science to go to the lab, mechanics to the garage, etc. Sure it might get a touch crowded, but I'm sure they can squeeze them in somehow...
