You know what would be cool?
If them moms had small babies wrapped with cloths on their back.
If people sometimes rised their hand and greeted other people. Coming back to village from a hunting trip for example (they might even cheer if they carried some meat or skin with them). Maybe they even have a friend whom they like to greet every now and then?
If kids played with little toys while idle. If kids played together. Might even rise their morale.
If someone trained a dog.
If dogs had their special human. Dogs are VERY family oriented. They might follow their special person.
If somebody petted a dog.
If a dog's tail wagged while it watches his/her special person.
If someone fed a dog.
If people would take food with them to a hunting trip. If people shared food to hungry ones.
If hungry people ate wild plants (berries for example) while hungry and walking past one. Dying to starvation after you killed an animal is a big crazy thing that hurts immersion. They do drink water, so why not eat berries? Edit: Just noticed this actually happens! Very good.
If people sometimes stopped for a chat.
If there was celebration, parties. Might even rise their morale.
If unarmed kids and very old people would follow hunting parties, to do the butchering and carrying meat, but avoided the hunting. Kind of a second unit that goes for hunting.
If kids leaving the village far behind (to get raw meat for example) would follow adults. Might be their parent or grand parent even.
If a medicine man, a shaman or a healer tended a sick person. (Given, I have not yet finished the game, don't know if there are those people, but a prehistoric village so needs them).
