I don't need the actual code just a hint where to start looking (version 1.0)
This question / problem has been solved by WildHobgoblinimage
Apparently the code was sent via email to the indiegogo backers.
I believe it contains a shovel and some other basic supplies.
The Devs have said on the forum that you can find the code in-game too, although I don't know where myself.
An offhand comment on the games wiki claims that the code can apparently be found in the underground bunker area, although I've been there and haven't found it (I suppose I didn't look hard enough).

No it's not, i specifically checked that with or without indiegogo content this password-locked stash is there.

http://darkwood.wikia.com/wiki/Small_Key_to_a_Stash

"The Small key to a stash can be found on a skeleton, on the Underground Entrance. It can be used to open the outdoors stash located on Hideout 1, which contains..."
"Before Alpha 10, the skeleton contained only Bandages, and the stash was password-locked. The password could not be obtained through any normal means in-game."

Well in full release (version 1.0) its the other way round, again!

I've read up on that a little, and yes, the stash is always there, but there may not be a way to open it regardless... From what I read, the code is also generated for each playthrough, so nobody can outright tell you "what it is". I've always had indiegogo content turned off so far, and I've not found any notes on the corpses around the Underground Hideout...

Meaning it's impossible. Solved, but they had to patch it properly though or least add specific code location for all other non indiegogo supporters.

Me too, only bandages...

I know that this is very old and you're probably alrady finished everyhing in this game, but I still want to say it for future generations: the code is 2919, you have to activate the indiegogo content to get it. This is the only code that is not randomly generated.

Not true. :) It is not the only one.
