When talking to NPC's, they skip significant parts of their speech, enough to not only make it hard to understand but also to miss important information.

Second serious problem on a GOG day in two days.

*sigh* Two games, two unplayable games. (the other one was Personal Nightmare). Yes, I consider this condition unplayable as I miss so much that I have no way of knowing what/when important information is missed.

I've gotta say this folks, my Steam games have fewer issues than my GOG games.

Never thought I'd say anything remotely like that, but I'm just really so disappointed lately.

If memory serves me correctly, you can turn on subtitles so you can read what they say. And then, also, there's a button to review all previously spoken/read conversations so that you can review what was said.

I don't think my GOG copy skips dialog, but I usually read it and skip over it quickly when I play, so I'm not 100% sure. I just played it a few days ago, so if you need more details, I can boot it up and figure more out.
