I just installed Darkstone on a 64bit Windows 7 Professional with the latest drivers for my AMD Radeon HD 6800. The clipping is very bad and as the characters move, the trees cover over the buildings. Besides breathing, which I expect (I used to play Darkstone on a different PC many years ago and it looked fine then), the characters are constantly flickering. Does anybody know a solution for this? I have tried adding -32bit -antialias and variations that also include either one or both of -triplebuffer -stipplealpha. I even tried -zbufferinfinite and -16bit (because I read somewhere that it needs -16bit but I'm not seeing anybody else say that).

This is one of my favorite games and I would really appreciate any help that you can offer.

The newer AMD drivers cause issues with the current build of Darkstone on GOG.

If you want to play Darkstone without the clipping issues, you'll have to roll back your driver to Catalyst 13.1 (This info was pulled from a thread in the general forums).

Hope this helps!

Just a heads up, apparently AMD Catalyst 13.12 resolves this issue (I have not tested it yet)
