It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I am currently almost done downloading though the browser but there are four files. i have downloaded the all except one (which i am doing now) but after i am done what is the next step??
The last one probably be the GOG installer for this game. So just open it and install the game :)
Now i have another problem. when i am trying to download the first 2GB (i am using Download Them All from Firefox) I get a recurring error (error 403) and it always happens at the same percentage. so could anyone shed some light on that??
If you are using the simultaneous download function of DownThemAll to download all the files together, than that might be the problem. AFAIK, when downloading from GOG, you can only have a single concurrent download connection per session. Also, you should try just downloading through either the default Firefox download manager or GOG's own download manager. I never have an issue using either of those.

I'm having the same problem mate, and Obscure has this setup too.
So, I've downloaded the 4, installed it and am now transferring the files into the main file.
No idea if that's where they go, but seeing as without them the game is like 40mb, I'd say that they're essential so I have to try something.
I'll let you know if that works :)
Darkstar One as well as Obscure is multiarchive game. Because some Windows issues, we cannot make one big installation file, so we divided it into several smaller.
Therefore you got to download and save in the same directory ALL the files, that includes all files starting with "setup_" and with two extension types EXE and BIN.
Once downloaded and saved in one folder, run SETUP_*.EXE (where * is your game name) and wait till installers verify itself. Then you will know game is intact and ready to install and play.

Well I ran the setup and then played the games, and yeah they worked. So then my curiosity got the better of me, and I DELETED the 3 extra Darkstar One files and the 2 extra Obscure files.
And the games still run.
So I take it that you only need them on your system when you run the setup, because then the setup grabs everything and shoves it where it should be? Meaning that you can delete the seperate files because they're now duplicates?
Because if not, then I've got a freak computer XD
A pretty awesome freak computer all the same, lol.
Hmm...
You need setup_*.* files ONLY during installation, think of it as a Install CD for any game you bought in regular way. After installation you don't need setup_ files, so basically it's a good idea to store it somewhere, like to burn to the CD for future use, so you don't have to download it again. :)
