Since I played the demo I knew I had to get this. I loved space sims for as long as I can remember. I recall playing Wing Commander and then buying a soundcard for Wing Commander II so I could listen to the voice intro. I loved all the games. Privateer came along, Descent, Freespace and, of course, Freelancer and now Darkstar One which combines parts off all those games. It's simply brilliant. If you are looking for a good looking, easily accessible space sim with a good story and the feel that you actually belong in that universe and the ship you are flying is your own, then go right ahead. Darkstar One does right for me what the X series made too complicated. Excellent game and for 10 bucks more than value for money.
