• Tier 1: everybody owning Darksiders, Darksiders II, and the DLC pack on gog.com up until the release of Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition on November 5th 2015, will get the Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition for free (i.e. freebie, gratuit, gratuito, kostenlos, gratuito).

Since there appears to be some sort of anti consumerism passing the buck going on between Valve and Vigil Games, Gunfire Games / Nordic Games as to where ONLY licensed owners of a Steam bought "Franchise Pack" can get a Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition Free Upgrade.

Steam owners with ALL the specified content "Darksiders, Darksiders II, and the DLC pack" in their Steam Library cannot get the Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition Free Upgrade. Even though some of them may have bought the entire Series of content prior to the THQ / Nordic buyout, or after, at much higher prices, building it a la carte or adding DLC Season Pass keys for the whole franchise from Steam, or adding codes from other online retailers such as Amazon.com etc.
