Hi all- great, active forum here!

I have a question: If I were to play the game without sound, how much of the experience would I be losing? How much voice acting is there? Would it really challenge the immersion to be muted?

Thanks!
For me personally, the music is atmospheric, the narrator's commentary (this is the only voice actor I think, but there are quite a few comments he gives throughout the game) is great and I like the sound effects overall. They help you almost feel a critical hit (on either the giving or receiving end!). Eventually, you may tire of the sounds and want them off, but I think they add to the immersion. From a strictly gameplay perspective, the sound adds nothing, meaning that the turn-based nature of the battles, movement, and basically everything results in there being no audio queues for pressing a key at a certain time. If you're not paying attention you may miss an audio warning about one of your heroes being near-death, but that's about the worst of it. Overall, your choice; see how you feel about the audio and if it doesn't suit you, turn it off.
Appreciate the feedback - thank you!
For a variety of reasons, I play almost every game without sound.
