bhpratt: I just noticed that my houndmaster is missing one of his combat skills. He now has only 3 skills instead of 4 to choose from. The missing combat skill is also no longer highlighted yellow in his personnel page.

What is causing this? I couldn't tell from the UI if it's being caused by a particular quirk, affliction, or disease. And a google search has so far turned up nothing.
