Game fails to launch no matter where or how I install it. It used to, several months ago and I've played dozens of hours both through the offline game and in galaxy as well. I hadn't made any changes to my system other than changing my resolution from 1366x768 to 1920x1080. I can't recall if the game stopped functioning immediately after that but I doubt it. In any case, changing my resolution back does not fix the issue.
When I attempt to open the exe or attempt to launch the game through Galaxy, it appears only for an instant on running tasks (suspended) and (exclusive to Galaxy) it does sync with local saves after I attempt to launch the game, in the same manner at it would when exiting the game normally with Galaxy running. This doesn't happen with syncing turned off, otherwise no difference there. I attempted all previous available versions, the result is the same with all of them.
I have attempted multiple re installations, on multiple disks, used the packaged uninstaller and done so manually, tried to set it to launch from a separate directory. GOG support was very quick to tell me they couldn't help me at all and that I should contact RedHook support, who have yet to get back to me at all.
This issue began (?) a few months back, I don't remember exactly when but my initial email to GOG was Sept 5th of 2018 and I'd been poking at it for some time before reaching out to them so it's been (at least) since 24357 or earlier.
