Hi all

Pretty much title.

Every time it goes on sale I'm tempted to pick it up, but then I look at the forums and I'm reminded of the posts about the game being flagged by malware detection.

Are there any more recent reports on this?
Or has it not really shown up lately?

I've never read those posts. I did install it on Windows 10 once last year I think and never had it flagged for a virus. Not during download or installation.

The game itself worked w/o any issues or community fixes/patches on Windows 10. Of course, Windows 10 has had updates since then, so I'm not sure my answer is still valid as far as installation.

But I can tell you that it still has issues installing on Windows 7, though some people seem to get it to work using various community fixes.

It's likely you're getting a false positive from your anti-virus software. Norton has never flagged it for me. I think some people for other games mentioned Avast flagging things every now and then. Are you by chance using that AV?

Regarding your last comments, I have held off on buying the game due to some of those comments and as such I have not had anything to scan.
