darknightfan: I just bought and installed Daikatana but whenever I try to change the resolution from the pre-set 640x480 to 1280x960 it forces me into windowed mode at a 640x480 resolution. Any attempt at changing to a higher resolution just repeats the process.
Any help would be appreciated
Install community produced patch 1.3. It'll solve the issues with the modern resolutions.
https://bitbucket.org/DGibson/daikatana-1.3/wiki/Home Daikatana by default doesn't support 16:9 or 16:10 widescreen resolutions. And largest 4:3 resolution you can use on your widescreen LCD is largely dependant on what kind of monitor you have. Not to mention that sometimes the largest 4:3 resolution supported by widescreen monitors is 1024x768. Even if you do have a 1080p monitor.
