All this talk about $1k+ GPUs and I'm here playing at 30 fps on a laptop's rtx 3050 mobile and generally feeling just fine.
Yeah, you can trust the reviews, as they were written for the state the game was in when they played it.
And the top review describes their opinions on the gameplay itself. That's what a review is. I even disagree with some of it, but that's not tantamount a a "review bomb".
People liking or disliking it isn't review bombing either, you can't tell if people gave the vote because they wanted to defame the game, or because the review went into a enough detail to give them some idea about what to expect going in, or because they played it and felt the same way. The reviews I liked from around release went into detail about story, skill tree, and mechanics. I even believed that technical issues could be fixed eventually.
I even disagree with some of it having now played it myself, but everything I've read about the state this game was in is just astounding. I've played many broken mainstream releases, this one wins an award in that category, they are not comparable.
There's an entire interconnected movement of content creators whose aim is to report on, and try to keep accountable, game publishers and developers. I guess they are all review bombing too?
