Trying to install Cyberpunk 2077 through GOG Galaxy, gets to 92%, stalls. I figure, maybe my PC went to sleep or something, I'll start over. Gets to 92%, stops again. Weird... figure there's a thing going on maybe?

I Google 'Cyberpunk GOG 92% stuck', and get all sorts of hits... and then I realize some of these are from 2020?!? They've had this type of problem for THREE YEARS and haven't fixed it?!?!?!

What good is 'DRM free' if you can't manage your digital rights by DOWNLOADING THE DAMN GAME? You can't fix a THREE YEAR OLD PROBLEM?!?

Sorry for the soapbox rant, but I had a limited amount of time to play today, was looking forward to this, and this thing that apparently has been going on forever stops me in my tracks, and I'm pissed off.

GoG Galaxy sucks, like every single other game client. There is no reason to use it.

You mean manually download 28 separate files, THEN figure out which version those all equate to, so I can then try and decode which patch files I ALSO need to download manually to get the game to where it should be?

I appreciate the response, and the fact that it IS a type of solution, but I honestly just went to Steam and bought it 50% off, it downloaded without issue, first time, and I'll hopefully have some time tonight to play. I don't have the time to work around GOG's issues.

I don't understand this question - those 28 files is a complete install. Download them, delete your current GoG install folder (assuming you haven't modded it to hell and back, like I have), and do a clean install, directly to the latest version.

Your save files won't be affected by this.
