A random pedestrian literally jumps in front of my motorcycle and a bunch of cops appear out of thin air(dead serious) to annihilate me on the spot. I also can't use any cyber abilities on spawned police forces.

This is supposed to be cyberpunk, not the matrix.

The system is extremely terrible, yes. But your mistake was that you stopped and checked if he was okay. Guess what happens, regardless of wanted level, if you just floor it? Since cops spawn behind you and can't drive, they're left in the dust and a few seconds is all it takes for your wanted level to disappear. The cops are still spawned for a little while, and if they see you then they will kill you, but once they despawn, your crime will never have happened.

GTA3 did this better, but that's 2020 for you.

Could not agree more with this - police behaviour is mind boggling and quite frankly senseless.

It has to be bugged.

I've never even seen a Maxtac unit get dropped off in a dropship as well! Like at the beggining of the game...

ok it is very annoying when you just pass beside policemen no restricted area just walking and suddenly the police is starting chase you there is a way to avoid it by reloading previous save but really what CDPR was thinking making this? I would prefer to thank me when I help them with gangs but at least I hate that they chase me because I walk pass them.

Needs Fixing seriously

It needs removing until they can do something useful with it. ATM it's simply ridiculous. They even attack you for other peoples crimes. If you are in the area were a civilian is killed then they come after you. I don't have words for how F'd up the cops are.

Or, you know, run a block and your wanted status goes away.

This must be a placeholder AI until they implement the real police AI. It just can't be the final product.

This is probably my biggest complaint about the game. Crime/Law System and the Star Ship Enterprise beaming the police in.

It seems to me like they had some other idea, but needed to close this for launch day. Totally like this was the easiest way to do it without interrupting something else.
