My FPS are pretty solid, and while I'm playing I get these moments where the graphics get "jittery" for lack of better word. Some times it's lasts for a few seconds, some times it's longer. There doesn't seem to be any real reason for it. I could just walk around night Night City and boom. It happens.

I thought maybe it was my drivers, I recently updated v 546.17, so I uninstalled and reinstalled. I was not optimistic that this would be the solution since I've not had any problems with other games.

BTW, I have an RTX 4080, so no problems there with DLSS or Frame Gen support. Like I said no problems with other games, or using v3.5.10 dlls or prior.

So it seems it's not the install of the drivers that I can tell, unless it's a problem with this version. I may roll back to a prior version and confirm at some point.

Well, since it still happened, I started to play with the settings. Slowly adjusting things down, I disabled DLSS and I no longer had this the jittering problem.

So I started trying different DLSS settings but none of them made a difference, until I enabled DLAA. Suddenly it was like old times back in Night City, solid FPS, albeit slightly lower, but there are is no random jitters on screen.

There are only 2 things of note that I have changed since I've begun to have this problem.

* Updated the drivers.
* Purchased Phantom Liberty.

I should also note that I have done a fresh install of the game (no prior user data saved), but to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's perplexing, and I wish I could better describe what is happening.

**Update**

I uninstalled my drivers with DDU, and installed some older drivers (537.34), it didn't seem to make much of a difference. So I updated back to current version (546.17) as of this post.

Another thing that I tried was disabled Ray tracing. This did help a little, but unfortunately it didn't totally resolve the issue.

Finally, I disabled the Frame Generation and most of the problems went away. I still have some occasional stutters, but nothing like before.

Running the benchmark, the numbers don't seem to represent what I see on the screen when I have DLSS with FG on. The numbers are fine, but visually it's looks like it's running terribly.

With DLAA, it looks like it's running way smoother, but the numbers are little lower.

With DLSS without FG, and it's pretty close to the DLAA, experience and numbers, maybe a little higher.

Other games I play have no such problems with DLSS, Frame Gen, and etc.
