Please please please, could the HDR implementation on PC be changed to be independent of the Windows HDR setting? I know this is possible, as the majority of other games which support HDR work this way. There are a few that do not (this, Horizon Zero Dawn), and it is frustrating to have to toggle the setting on/off whenever I play/exit the game. I don't believe most people enable HDR in Windows (because it's generally not good).

I should be able to enable HDR in Cyberpunk 2077 even if it is not enabled in Windows.

there should be no need at all to have to turn hdr on in windows before running the game.

other games like no mans sky can do it.

but thats the least of hdrs problems with this game tbh. its very broken with settings that do nothing or just dont work in certain areas of the game.
