I've noticed that the cars/ bikes no longer have engine or other car sounds. I can't think of a mod other than traffic density that affected vehicles. Help please.

I figured it out. Since Appearance Menu Mod no longer works, I didn't think to check that. It has a sound file that must be deleted till it works again.

I have the same problem and I never installed a mod. Just all the cars got muted for some reason.

Man, I was looking forward to buy this game now, but now look at all the bugs popping up...

I think they're just really really low, I can hear some engine noises occasionally and they do get loud for a half second depending on the area I'm in at the time.

I thought it was mod but guess not if others are having the same issue with vanilla install.

Before patch 2.0 I only recall having a few bugs but so far I've seen missing textures, phone calls where I can only see teeth and eyeballs no skin. Now no vehicle sounds and it's crashed more often - but that's the risk I took when I modded it.

I've cycled through the speakers as well thinking maybe they've put the engine sounds onto another channel somehow but so far no joy.

as job7882 suggested, I disabled the appearance menu and the change unocker mods and got vehicle sounds back.

You don't need to remove all of AMM, just remove "basegame_AMM_SoundEffects.archive" from the archive/pc/mod folder.
