I've been having long standing issues with my mouse and keyboard inputs on Cyberpunk 2077. Frequently (every few minutes) my mouse and keyboard stop responding to the game, and usually, if I have a key pressed (say, W), I keep moving in that direction. After several seconds, they start working again.

I've tried moving my mouse and keyboard USB plugs to different ports, but to no avail. The problem doesn't seem to affect my Xbox controller attached to my PC. I am at my wits end as this is the only piece of software affected by the issue. Other games don't have this problem.

I've unplugged all other controllers attached to my PC and the problem doesn't go away. Following the guides on the FAQ doesn't seem to do anything either. Conducting a repair of the game's files didn't fix it, and neither did a reinstall.

Suggestions?

I recently installed the game and found myself having the same issue, I have tried some troubleshooting with no luck so far, I am using a wireless mouse and keyboard, Logitech G305 and G613, hopefully they can patch this at some point, for now I will try with a controller, if that works I guess I will play that way, I have had no issues with any other game.

Same issue. I think it's unrelated to models of keyboards and mouses (I have Logitech K310 keyboard and A4Tech X7 mouse - both wired). I updated my chipset drivers for X570 motherboard and it looks like it's random. Yesterday I played for like 5 hours without breaks and there was no mouse and keyboard freezes. Today I launched the game and it started happening like 5 minutes after loading the save.

Mouse and keyboard freeze only in Cyberpunk. When controls are freezed in Cyberpunk, I can ALT+TAB and do whatever, and when I go back quickly to Cyberpunk it's still frozen. It's a game issue, not PC.

Been having the same issue, primarily with the mouse. Corsair Nightsword running iCue software. Tried everything from disabling Nvidia overlay, to iCue, different USB ports, etc. No dice. This obviously needs attention from CDPR. Hopefully it gets elevated to tech/dev.
